Project: Space Goat

And now the moment that everyone has been waiting for!

What is PROJECT SPACE GOAT?

Well P:SG is my return to WoW. For those of you who don’t follow me on Twitter I’ve been slowly getting back into the swing of things WoW wise. I decided to try something completely new. (Don’t worry I’ll still be kicking around on my main with Holy Dueg and bringing you raiding details once Icecrown drops since I won’t do ToC.. it’s against everything I hold dear :D) Since I can’t be completely without friends in game, I’m playing on Feathermoon-US with Arrens, Jez, BubblesAnea and a few others. This means that I am *gasp* ALLIANCE. Which means, yes, I have made another space goat!  And yes, it’s another priest. Crazy I know, I’ve been told.

Wow, all that babbling and I still haven’t gotten to the point. I must still be in NaNoWriMo mode 😉 Project Space Goat is going to be my adventures in leveling my priest all over again with out all the sweet hookups. No heirloom gear, no super expensive twink gear, none of that. I took 1 money handout from Arrens, but I’ve taken tailoring and enchanting again, so I’ll be crafting all my own gear and enchanting it. It will also be part leveling guide, part money making adventures, part OMG This Is What Happens When A Noob RPs, and part ohnoes I’m alliance WTF. I leveled my priest in Vanilla WoW and she was a twink for a good bit of her early life (ok, most of her life) so I’m curious to see if leveling tailoring and enchanting still sucks, and if I die nearly as much, and just how much XP do you get in BGs? I hope you all enjoy it, and if there is anything in particular you want to see me do, just leave a comment and I will do it! Whether it’s leveling in the worst zone for Alliance (which I have no idea what that is.. desolace? ashenvale? idk…) or as my good friend suggested, Space Goat Coast to Coast, A Fishing Extravaganza!

I hope everyone is looking forward to this as much as I am!

  1. Welcome to Feathermoon! Ping me her name so I can put her on Beltar’s friends list along with all the other blogger alts. (And maybe I can slide you a few low-level potions if it won’t offend your spacegoat’s pride… 🙂 )

    • it would not offend the spacegoat pride at all 🙂

Her name is tartdarling (because really what else could it be? though I’m liking anea’s tartness too…)

  2. Oooh.

    http://needhealerplz.blogspot.com/2009/09/pvp-i-suck-but-here-goes-nothing.html

I started a space goat on that server with the hopes of leveling up one of the two classes they were looking for, but the project sort of fizzled because I’m lazy and lonely. But if I had someone to level with …

If you want a partner, let me know. 😀 I have some out-of-town work coming up that will probably prevent me from raiding during the month of December, but low level questing is doable on hotel internet. I’m still level 6.

But if you don’t want a partner, I still wish you luck. 🙂 Yay for space goats!

  3. Oh, blah, I saw the link for Amber’s site and thought “oh, Azgalor”, but you said Feathermoon – nevermind. 😀

    • I have an alt on Amber’s server too. I’m sure I could manage to help with some partnering (i’m a space goat there as well) just send me an email or a tweet and let me know!

  4. I am looking forward to it! Spacegoats ftw 😀

Well, low-levelly I think the worst zone could be Westfall – just about any Alliance character has a healthy level of hate for that place.

I always disliked Desolace, but that’s on any character really. I’ll have to think up a really horrible place to send you 😉

    • spacegooooooat! 🙂

I’ve heard westfall is kind of the Alliance version of the Barrens, so maybe I’ll have to see which is worse…

    • I agree about Desolace. A quest over there sends you all the way to Swamp of Sorrows to complete it and includes a rep grind so, yeah, total suckage. Plus, I hate that zone in general because it’s so gross.

I didn’t mind Westfall so much; I don’t know why.

I greatly dislike the Kurzen quests in STV.

Ashenvale isn’t nearly as bad as it used to be. Two quest hubs now and two FPs so navigating isn’t quite as bad as it used to be.

  5. I’m the weirdo who LIKES Desolace. I even blogged about it.

    Azshara is pretty terrible, though.
